Class Description:
This 2-hour on-demand workshop will teach you how to build a lightweight and durable headdress base completely from scratch. Designed for anyone looking to create statement pieces for costumes, festivals, body paint competitions, photo shoots, music videos, special events, and more! This class walks you through the process in real time as you follow along with step-by-step guidance. You'll learn how to design your own headdress pattern, shape and glue EVA foam, and work with essential materials like floral foam to ensure a sturdy and comfortable fit. Anja shares her personal tips, tools, and professional techniques—including the types of glues she uses such as contact cement, water-based, and resin-based adhesives—along with important dos and don’ts in the headdress-making process. By the end of the workshop, you'll have the skills and confidence to create three unique headdress base styles and use them as a foundation to bring your own stunning designs to life.
